MEET THE TEAM

The HOMEHUNTS team is international and multilingual. We all bring different qualities and strengths to the company and come from a variety of backgrounds. The team work closely together, we are in constant contact and regularly meet to discuss ways to help each other and ways to improve our services. It is extremely important for all of the team at HOMEHUNTS to really get to know our clients.

At the same time, we feel it is important for you to know who we are. This section is aimed to give you a little insight into the team of people that make up HOMEHUNTS and it allows you to put a face to the names.

FRANCOIS-XAVIER DE VIAL - Director

Born in Normandy and brought up in Paris, Francois-Xavier has fifteen years experience in international sales and marketing and has traveled to more than 100 countries.

Francois settled in Marseille in 2002 with his wife and son having lived in all corners of the globe and he now loves living and working in the heart of Provence. He represented an English based estate agency in the South of France for some time before setting up HOMEHUNTS with Tim in 2004. He speaks French, English, German and Spanish.

TIM SWANNIE - Director

Tim is English and was born in Harrogate in North Yorkshire. He has nearly 15 years experience of the property and recruitment industries across Europe with particular expertise in the UK, France and the Benelux.

Tim moved to live on the French Riviera in 2003. He was drawn to this part of the world by the weather and quality of life having been a regular visitor to the area for many years.

The idea of HOMEHUNTS was born the following year when Tim was introduced to Francois-Xavier by a close family friend. Tim is based in the Cannes area but travels extensively throughout France and overseas, he speaks English, a little Dutch and tries his best in French!

ALICE COLLISON - Consultant

Administration and Sales Support

Born in Lancashire, England, Alice has lived in the South of France with her husband since 2003. Graduating in Modern Languages (French and Spanish), Alice has a background in UK banking, French accounts and administration. Alice will be working alongside the management coordinating administration, database management and accounts and providing support to the consultants.

Manager - Morocco

Jerome was Born in Corsica and began traveling around the world from an early age, enjoying meeting new cultures and people. He has lived and worked in Greece, Thaïland and Australia as well as France and Morocco. At the age of 17, Jerome was a windsurf instructor and kept on teaching this sport for years as a hobby.

He joined Home-Hunts to manage the Morrocco extension of our activities after three years in real estate in Paris (Where he missed the sunshine!). Now based in Marrakech permanently, he is much happier with the climate and loves the way of life.

He knows all the best adresses in town and will be a great guide during your stay, he can offer help and advice on all aspects of living in Morocco. He can also help you to find accomodation (his brother is in charge of a tourism group in Morocco).

Jerome is natural and reliable and will do anything to welcome and please our customers. He speaks French, fluent English and good German.

Russia

Natalia is from Russia, she has several years experience in sales and marketing. She is based permanently in Rostov-on-Don in Russia, and provides assistance for all Russian-speaking customers. Natalia speaks English and of course, Russian.

Customer Relations Manager

Nicola spent over 10 years working for the BBC in News and Current Affairs and later ran training courses to teach people how to handle the media. She then moved to Zurich in 2000 where she set up her own English Pre-school which she ran for seven years. As a child she lived in Paris, and then later on in Marbella and Bahrain but always knew that she would return to live in France. She has now settled in Nîmes, in the Languedoc-Roussillon with her family and has first hand experience of the property process both in France and Europe. She has extensive knowledge of that certain “Je ne sais quoi” feeling, having been the Editor of a property/lifestyle magazine about southern France and continues to write for a number of magazines published in France and Switzerland. Nicola is the first contact for our clients, guiding them towards their ultimate property search and putting them in touch with our regional consultants. She is also responsible for producing our monthly newsletter, and handles the press and public relations image of Home Hunts
